RECEPTION MATHS & ENGLISH PROGRAMME

Our Reception programmer for 4-5 year olds are primarily emphases on Mathematics, English and Science.

According to National Curriculum recommended by Department for Education, at this stage learners are required to learn Mathematics, English and Science. Preschoolers benefit most from a rounded education, combining both literacy and numeracy skills. Our preschool students usually learn the same topics at both the centre and at home, giving immediate learning reinforcement to improve their skills.

For some young learners, teaching at school can be a daunting and not everyone progresses at the same rate. Therefore, it is important to make sure your child feels interested about learning and willing to try new things. A little extra push at this loving stage can bring surprises!

Class Structure

Classes are held once a week for two hours with an option of attending a homework support class for an additional hour. Within the class times children learn Mathematics and English with embedded Science in their lessons.

Our young earners will be focusing on building the fundamentals of literacy and numeracy by appealing children in a diversity of structured, entertaining learning activities.

Our KS1 teachers and tutors are well experienced to support young children who are finding aspects of learning difficulties in the early years.
